Thirroul Dental Studio is a friendly, professional practice built around patient comfort and clinical excellence — with a multi-disciplinary team that covers everything from a gentle check-up to full-mouth implant rehabilitation.
Our story
Our practice was built with a clear intention: to create a dental studio where patients feel genuinely looked after — from the welcome at reception through to the chair. That commitment shows up in the details: generous appointment times, thoughtful explanations, and sedation options when they're needed.
Principal dentist Dr David Jang graduated from the University of Queensland and holds a Master of Science in Oral Implantology from Goethe University Frankfurt, with further study in orthodontics. Alongside him, Dr Yo-Han Choi and Dr Edward Choi bring additional expertise in cosmetic dentistry and facial aesthetics.
We're proud to serve the Illawarra community — Thirroul, Corrimal, Bulli, Woonona, Bellambi, Austinmer, Coledale and the wider Wollongong region — and several of our dentists are able to consult in Korean as well as English.

University of Queensland graduate and holder of a Master of Science in Oral Implantology from Goethe University Frankfurt. Has undertaken additional study in orthodontics and refined skills across multiple Sydney practices.
